Alastair is the Chief Product Officer at C8 Technologies in London, a provider of research-led systematic, multi-strategy tradeable indices. Specialising in quantitative portfolio construction and systematic strategy development, he looks after the tools and algorithms that underpin a range of systematic products. With over fifteen years of front-office experience encompassing all aspects of systematic trading and portfolio management, he has successfully developed and managed high-capacity quantitative strategies globally across equities, futures and derivatives.

Alastair has previously served as Director of Micro Research at Tenacis Capital, New York and as Executive Director at Goldman Sachs, London.

Alastair holds a Doctorate in Physics from the University of Oxford and a Masters in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
